1154 Extract from an email from Barbara Ward, wife of Raymond Ward.

"There was something else that your Dad said to do with the falling out between George (Canada) and his Dad. I know George and Rene looked after their Mum when she was very ill and I think she was with them above their hairdresser's salon on the Broadway. George considered that his Dad was seeing Auntie Sue whilst his wife was very ill and this caused words between George and his Dad. I don't obviously know the truth of this but it was the reason why George was cut out of his Dad's will. Ray told me that he and his siblings offered to make up George's share from their own but George said No, and to let his father's wishes stand."

Jane Ward noted that George Ward emigrated to Canada.

Fiona lived in Hildenborough, a small village in Kent, from 1985 to 2001 with her parents Ann and Richard and her brother Simon; they both attended Stocks Green Primary School and then Hilden Grange Preparatory School.
Due to the Walkley family strong interest and involvement in the Scouting movement, (having had Fiona?s Grandfather, Father and Mother all run Scout, Cub and Beaver troops) she joined her local troop for 5 years and gained the highest Scouting award, the Chief Scout?s Award, in 1998.
Fiona went to top secondary school, Tonbridge Grammar School for Girls, from 1994 to 2001 and gained an interest in French language. Fiona then read French studies with a minor in Italian at Oxford Brookes? University for 4 years and gained a 2:1 with Oral distinction. As part of her degree she spent a year living in France teaching children English and continued this aspect of work by giving children private French classes after graduating.
Fiona has a strong passion for swimming and competed for two local clubs from 1990 to 1997, winning two gold medals at the Kent County Championships. For the next 10 years she took up part time swimming teaching and lifesaving with her mother who runs a swimming business. She enjoys swimming regularly as well as skiing in the French Alps.
