  • Notes
    • Paul was born on 8th February 1951, eldest son of the 2 boys born to Joan & Ron INGRAM.
Paul lived in the family home, built by his parents at 66 Carlton Road, Glen Eden,(later renamed Savoy Road) Auckland, for over 20 years.
Paul attended Glen Eden Primary School, Glen Eden Intermediate and Kelston Boys High School. He left school at the end of the 4th Form to start an apprenticeship in Panel beating with Rob Williams Panel beaters in Glen Eden.
As a fully qualified Panel beater he left NZ and did a stint in London & Europe.
On his return he met Allison (nee Walker), became engaged and started his own Panel beating business in Kumeu in 1973.
Paul and Allison married on 12 October 1974 and commenced building their home in the Waitakere Ranges of West Auckland, Swanson, where they still live to this day.
From when Paul & Allison first met until the early 1980?s Allison worked for the Bank of New Zealand followed for a short time with AGC Finance Ltd. She went on to open her own Coffee Lounge in Kumeu Village for 7 years until she sold it in 1990.
Paul operated his Panel beating business (Paul Ingram Panel beaters Limited) for 23 years, selling it to his first apprentice in 1996.
Three years later, in 1999, Paul and Allison purchased the house next-door to their own and turned it into a Bed & Breakfast guest accommodation-Panorama Heights B&B.
10 years on they are still enjoying welcoming guests and travelling overseas, they still live in their original home, built by themselves over 30 years ago.
