  • Notes
    • William Dolman served in WWI from 1915 to June 1919. He listed Harold Gray, Cloverdale, Patea, as the nearest relative in New Zealand in his service file. His mother lived in Mill End, Alrewas, Burton on Trent in England at the time.

According to the Patea Mail 14 May 1919 Rifleman Dolman gained the Military Medal for gallantry in the field at La Basseville. He was engaged in dairy farming with Mr Gray at Cloverdale up until his enlistment.

At enlistment he listed Patea as his place of residence and JB Hynes as his employer.
