    • Children found in baptisms list at http://www.lan-opc.org.uk/Preston/Preston/stjohn/index.html

They must have had at least one other son, as Robert Lowe Brewster is described as "second son" in his marriage notice.
    • Other Brewster sons must have come to New Zealand. A cousin was married in Blenheim.

  • Notes
    • Did she visit New Zealand in 1935? A photo of "Great Aunt Margaret" (caption in Dorothy Walkley's handwriting) is in the Walkley collection, taken in 1935 at the Golden Wedding of Robert Lowe and Martha Brewster. Margaret Jane Brewster was Dorothy Walkley's great aunt.

There is a snippet in Papers Past, Press, 5 April 1935:

"Miss Margaret Brewster (Birkenhead, England), who has been the guest of Mrs Masters, sen., Worcester street. left by rail and aeroplane for the Franz Josef Glacier and Blenheim."

Mrs Masters in Worcester street would have been the sister of Martha Howard. They lived in Christchurch in 1935, in Worcester street. It makes sense that she would have been travelling on to Blenheim, as there were Brewsters living there at the time. She then would have presumably travelled onto the the Golden Wedding celebrations in Auckland in May.
