Notes - Life history. Lived at Katherine St Ashton Under Lyne. 'James and Clara went from England to Melbourne in 'Oroya' 1888. Left Melbourne 1892? in SS Tarawera, arrived Auckland May 1892. Then came to Ti Point. Had a house near Ted Torkington's orchard. Shifted to 5 Dedwood Terrace Ponsonby after Nellie was born.... After five years they shifted up to the Dome (valley). Only Nellie and Florence had children. There was a slump in Melbourne after the exhibition. Ti Point. Then Chelsea sugar works. Then Harry's asthma so bought at Waiwhu.
