This marriage, and this spouse, are the only ones for a Christopher Clark* | Clerk*, so I'm assuming, wildly, thatthis is a marriage to 'our' C C Clarke.

Notes - 'The youngest son of this man (Christoper Charles Clarke) went out to Australia in 1864, married in 1867, worked on therailway for a time, became a partner in a tweed mill. His grandchildren still live in Sydney NSW'. Haight, p. 126 n.
If we accept this, then the conjectured dating of CCC is quite wrong. Assuming the son was 20 when he migrated, then hewas born 1847, and the father we guess was born c. 1820.
I think Haight was attempting to refer to CCC himself (#2142), who would have been 19 in 1864 and who was the youngestson of Edward Clarke and Christina Evans.
CCC's father (#1928) would've been the second cousin to our Charles Septimus Clarke (# ); CCC would have been the thirdcousin of Minnie.
980730: It was not the ~ son ~ of Christopher Charles Clarke (#2142) who went to Australia, but Christopher Charleshimself, who was the youngest son of Eward Clarke (#1928) [6]
