Notes - On 29th March 1922 it was documented that Emily was in Primmer 2 and that she had established good attendance during the previous 12 months as a student of Auckland Normal School. She married a man by the name Mr Fred Draffin, they lived in Edwin St. Mt Eden, and she died on 18th June 1939 aged 25.
Her son Peter Draffin, was a resident in St Joseph?s Orphanage, ferried across the harbour to attend St. Peters College, Epsom. Cousin Peter moved to Christchurch.
